Min Edwards – 2016

Min Edwards is the pen name of Archaeologist, former bookstore owner, and proprietor of A Thirsty Mind Book Design, Pam Headrick.

She’s lived in many countries in her life: England, the Philippines, Cuba, Texas (yes, Texas thinks of itself as a separate country), gathering experiences for her writing along the way. She earned Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees from Texas Tech University and The University of Texas at Austin in Anthropology/Archaeology with minors in Art, Geology, and Geography, but spent her early career as an Archaeological Illustrator of some renown.

Radically changing track in 2004, she opened an independent bookstore in an affluent community outside Austin, A Thirsty Mind Words & Wines (one of the first bookstore/wine bars in the country). This started her on the road to careers in bookselling, book formatting and ultimately writing.

Her journey continues today in Downeast Maine, Pheasant Cove Farm, surrounded by woodsand the sea. Every day she writes and dreams in the office of her 178 year old house, the sounds of creaking beams and wind whistling through the cracks her sound track. She published her debut novel, Stone Bay, in March of 2014, which will be quickly followed by several books in a new Romantic Suspense series, High Tides Suspense. Coming in the fall of 2014 will be the beginning of the Talon, Ltd. Series, books with an Archaeological theme, Romantic Suspense of course. She hopes to begin 2015 with more in the Stone Bay Series of Contemporary Romances.
